FAQs

Brink's Home Inspection

  • Do you check all the outlets in the home?

Our inspection process includes verifying the proper wiring of all accessible electrical outlets throughout the home using an electrical outlet tester.
  • Do you look for mold?

Any visible and accessible biological growth is documented in our report with accompanying photographs. We recommend laboratory testing for conclusive identification of such growth.
  • Do you look for insects?

Our inspection includes noting any evidence of past or present insect activity. If found, we recommend contacting a professional pest control service for appropriate treatment and removal.
  • Do you access my attic and roof?

We access all accessible roofs, provided they can be safely walked on without causing damage to the roof coverings. Attic spaces are also inspected, when accessible, to evaluate the condition of the roof deck, attic venting, and insulation.
  • Do you inspect pools?

We conduct a general inspection of open pools, focusing primarily on safety concerns. For a comprehensive pool evaluation, we recommend engaging a qualified pool technician.
